Eurobeat Remix!
While I also helped out with something else later in the video (we’ll get to that), my solo contribution was a high-energy head-pumping Eurobeat remix (3:39), which helped to kickstart my love for the genre and a desire to make more Eurobeat when the opportunity presents itself.
Making J-Fusion With Some Friends
For the video’s grand finale (13:40) Moola brought together an impromptu J-Fusion band consisting of four of the collab’s participante: Himself, Shutdown, Kaseboy Advance, and me. The four of us worked together to create something akin to the style of Japanese Fusion bands T-Square and CASIOPEA. Personally, I was responsible for writing for saxophone, with Moola on piano, Shutdown on drums, and Kaseboy Advance on bass. The result was what might be the best sounding remix/cover I’ve ever worked on.
